Litter Giveaway! One click will help rescue groups receive thousands of pounds of free cat litter!
Your index finger is amazing! It can help deliver thousands of pounds of cat litter to rescue groups around the nation for free!
Through its online voting campaign GiveLitter™, the World’s Best Cat Litter™ will donate truckloads of much-needed cat litter to A.D.O.P.T Pet Shelter in Illinois, Homeward Pet in Washington, and Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons in New York. All of the participating organizations are part of Best Friends No More Homeless Pets® Network.
Voting is Simple
Animal lovers everywhere can vote once a day and donate litter for free by visiting the GiveLitter Facebook page at http://givelitter.com/fb and on the program’s website at http://www.givelitter.com. So put your finger to work and vote daily! Each group will receive litter by participating in the campaign. How much litter depends on how many votes each group receives.
“We’re thrilled to work alongside World’s Best Cat Litter and offer this opportunity to our Network partners,” says Cheri Moon, who works on the No More Homeless Pets Network program. “We really hope that Best Friends’ supporters will vote for these groups daily and share the campaign with their animal-loving friends.”
41,000 Pounds and Counting
This campaign follows on the heels of three previous GiveLitter efforts that have resulted in over 41,000 pounds of free litter being donated to shelters in Washington D.C., Los Angeles and three shelters spread across Texas.
The amount of litter donated to the three No More Homeless Pets Network partners will be announced after September 16th, when the voting campaign ends. The participating organizations are hoping supporters will harness the power of the web to make sure truckloads of free litter are donated to their adoption centers.
“The support we have seen in previous GiveLitter campaigns is a testament to the passion of both animal-lovers and those caring for cats in need,” said Paul Zobel, Senior Director of Marketing, World’s Best Cat Litter. “As a result of all the people who voted online, our GiveLitter program has far exceeded our expectations with each round and we know this momentum will continue.”
